Natural Stone Pool Copings and Custom Cuts
Give your pool a clean, finished look with natural stone pool coping from FP Legacy Landscaping. Pool coping creates the transition between the swimming pool and the surrounding deck, patio, or outdoor living area while adding an important architectural detail to the design.
Whether you’re building a new pool or updating an existing one, we offer natural stone coping in different colors, thicknesses, finishes, and edge profiles to fit the style of your project.
Natural Stone for Pool Edges
The pool edge is one of the most visible details in an outdoor space.
Natural stone can help create a smooth transition between the pool, patio, landscaping, and surrounding architecture. Depending on the material and edge profile, the finished look can range from traditional and rounded to clean and contemporary.
Pool coping can also coordinate with nearby patios, walkways, outdoor kitchens, walls, and other stone features for a more cohesive design.
Custom Pool Coping
Every pool project has different dimensions and design requirements.
FP Legacy Landscaping provides custom stone cutting and fabrication to create coping pieces that match the size, thickness, finish, and edge detail required for the project.
Custom fabrication gives builders, designers, and homeowners more flexibility when working with unique pool shapes, architectural details, and surrounding hardscape.
Pool Coping Edge Profiles
The edge profile can make a noticeable difference in the final appearance of the pool.
Rounded profiles can create a softer, more traditional look, while straight or beveled edges can provide cleaner lines for contemporary designs.
FP Legacy Landscaping offers a variety of custom edge options, including bullnose, half bullnose, beveling, pencil round, shark nose, straight edge, grooves, and other specialty cuts.

Pool Coping for Patios & Outdoor Living
Pool coping works best when it feels connected to the rest of the outdoor space.
The color, texture, and finish can be coordinated with the pool deck or patio to create a consistent look. It can also provide contrast when the design calls for a more defined pool edge.
For larger outdoor living projects, similar stone can be carried into nearby walkways, walls, steps, seating areas, or landscape features.
Choosing the Right Pool Coping
Start with the overall design of the pool and surrounding area.
Consider the color of the waterline, patio materials, exterior finishes, landscaping, and architectural style of the property. The thickness, edge profile, texture, and stone finish will also influence the final appearance.
Our team can help you review available options and determine which combination works best for your project.
